Strategic HR Learning Leaders Forum™

A Collaboration by the Center for Effective Organizations and eePulse CEO at USC

What if you could?

  • Track the energy and engagement levels of the employees in your HR team and use that predictive data to head off problems and pursue new opportunities?
  • Get real-time assessments of HR confidence, HR contribution, and HR effectiveness?
  • Learn more about your organization and new trends facing your leadership team through the voice of your HR staff, regardless of where in the world they reside?
  • Respond to dips in energy and confidence with real-time interventions that you know will be effective and within your budget?
  • Learn what works and what does not work from a cohort of executives who are confronting the same challenges you face?
  • Share in case studies of “next” strategic HR and business practices?
  • Take learning and executive development to a new level with customized programs that focus on your problems and opportunities?
  • Interact with world renowned faculty who can help you deliver on the promise of HR?

The Center for Effective Organizations (CEO) at the Marshall School of Business, USC, is teaming up with eePulse, Inc., in an interactive, real-time research approach to help HR teams get beyond fads and trends.

We are seeking innovative HR executives who are leading HR departments striving to not just wear the “strategic HR” label but truly engage in driving business results through people. If you are interested in being part of our learning team, join the Strategic HRM Learning Leaders Forum today.

What you'll do or how you will learn

Your HR leadership team will learn how to use the Data and Dialogue Driven Leadership methodology to improve your HR department's performance. This involves:

Data: Members will collect data from their employees quarterly. The pulse dialogues (the word we use for surveys) will be short and take at most 15 minutes to complete. eePulse will facilitate this data collection with their technology engine. You will have real-time benchmarking based on data from all members, auto categorization of comment data so you can easily pinpoint opportunity areas, confidentiality via a third party handling the data, and the use of several dialogue tools that are built into eePulse's set of web-based leadership tools. You receive data on both validated metrics, such as employee energy, HR confidence, and leadership confidence as well as questions of interest to the members (customized as the need arises, but may include talent management, aging workforce, governance, or rewards).

Dialogues: Executives involved in the program will learn how to use interactive data and dialogue skills to drive learning and results within their HR teams. Data will be grouped in ways that facilitate dialogue with the HR team. Executive development will be facilitated through web-based and on-site programs run by the CEO faculty members. Case studies will be used for sharing success stories, struggles, and lessons learned. Every employee involved in the data collection effort will receive his/her own personal report and journal, engaging every HR team member in the learning process through self reflection and individual learning.
